Lifestyle has a significant influence on physical and psychological state of person. Emerging new technologies in IT like the web and virtual communication networks has lead our world to a serious challenge that threatens the physical and psychological state of people. The challenge is the overuse and misuse of the internet. Advanced technology has facilitated the life of people. Overuse of technology may end in unpleasant consequences, for instance, using of computer and other devices at night, may effect sleeping pattern and later our health. Addiction to use mobile is said to cause depression symptoms. A healthy lifestyle gives you a long and happy life. With increasing prevalence of life-style diseases in India, one out of four Indians are in danger of dying from diseases like diabetes, cardio-vascular ailments or cancer before the age of seventy. Small changes within the lifestyle can work wonders for your mental and physical health.

* One must control portion size at meals to regulate weight and risk for cardiovascular and other diseases.

* One must do muscle strengthening exercises, like weight lifting with aerobic exercises, like walking or running. Yoga can also be done to enhance the flexibility of the body.

* Seven to nine hours of sleep should be taken into account for a healthy lifestyle.

* Although some stresses are inevitable and necessary, excess can cause various health problems. Stress may create muscular pain, headaches, sleep disturbances and other symptoms. Connect with friends and family to alleviate mental pressures and take out some time to read or pursue a hobby.

Healthy habits make an enormous difference. People that met criteria for all above mentioned habits enjoy longer lives.
